Donna Vigeant, Executive Director

Donna joined Saving Sight Rhode Island in 1996, the year following our founding, and has been our Executive Director since September, 2004. She is experienced in all phases of non-profit management.

At Saving Sight Rhode Island, Donna manages the agency; oversees all projects, programs, and staff; develops new programs and projects; and obtains funding for programs, projects, and special events.

Barbara Leahy, Client Representative

Barbara has been employed by Saving Sight Rhode Island since 2002. She coordinates with eye care professionals for client referrals, obtains eye exams and eyeglasses for clients, connects clients with services, follows up with clients after they are referred from vision screening to treatment resources, and handles database input.

Kristen Henry, Program Coordinator

Kristin came to Saving Sight Rhode Island in August, 2007. She is trained and certified in both children and adult screening. She schedules glaucoma alert program screenings with senior services, public housing facilities, and elsewhere; coordinates visual acuity screenings; and is our camera coordinator.

Our Board of Directors

Our Board includes broad representation from the health care, medical, and non-profit sectors of the business and professional communities. They are actively involved in assuring that the donations and grants that we receive are put to good use in meeting the vision care needs of low-income Rhode Islanders.
